Iligan City launches Business Month

Economic challenges, availability of resources and the pressing need for progress propel the legislators of the city to make a project that will strengthen local business and empower Iliganons. Eventually , Councilor Frederick Siao who  is also one of the fellows of the Mindanao Bridging Leadership Program of the Asian Institute of Management, proposed a resolution to the City Council declaring October as the Business Month every year. O n October 3, 2011, Iligan Business Month was formally launched at the Anahaw Amphitheatre.  It is a collaborative project of Councilor Siao,  Chamber of Commerce & Industry Foundation Iligan, Inc.  and DTI – Lanao del Norte.
