The Iligan Bloggers Society (IBS) is inviting you to the  5th Mindanao Bloggers Summit  (MBS5) on October 29-30, 2011 at Iligan City. After detailed planning and numerous meetings, Mindanao Bloggers Summit 2011 will banner the t heme “ One Green Mindanao: Mobilizing Bloggers to Promote Sustainable Lifestyle ”. This year’s summit will not only be a venue to converge Mindanao-based bloggers but also discuss issues on environment and to help formulate a better Mindanao through the promotion and the adaptation of a sustainable lifestyle. “With the prevalent issues on climate change, the Summit aims to promote natural balance and respect for the human symbiotic relationship with the Earth”, IBS Executive Director, Ms. Yape stated.   She also wishes to invite all bloggers who are interested to attend the event and experience the vibrant Mindanao blogging community, and to share ideas and explore the potential impact of blogging and sustainable lifestyle.

Members of Toastmasters International from Iligan, Macajalar and Cagayan de Oro Chapters met on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Chelina Beach Resort , Sta. Felomina, Iligan City for their Fellowship and Team Building activities . Alex Zeta, the Area Governor initiated the idea to establish camaraderie among members of Area 51.
