Bahay-Kubo Native Restaurant

The people of Iligan come from different regions of the Philippines.  This project will provide Iliganons as well as non-Iliganons with some native Filipino food associated with the different regions and tribes within the country. It would allow them to enjoy their provinces' native products and will give them the opportunity to taste other provinces' delicacies without having to be physically present in such locations. This will promote our very own Filipino cuisine and preserve our culture that is mirrored in every recipe a true Filipino prepares.

Prawn Farming

Prawn farming is an aquaculture business which involves raising prawns for human consumption. It is a fast developing industry in the Philippines, because as an export commodity, prawns are  major dollar-earners. This is a capital intensive business, especially the one employing the intensive culture system. The degree of success in this business is high. However, the risks increase as producers employ more advanced farming methods and larger farm sizes. The aim of the project is to gain profit by catering to the demand for prawns of hotels, restaurants as well as the individual consumers of Iligan City and Marawi City.
