The City of Iligan initiates Project 111111
The City of Iligan initiates Project 111111, a collective
effort of the different organizations, individuals and other entities, both
public and private, who enthusiastically collect donations which will be given
to the less fortunate ones this yuletide season. 111111 stands for ONE CITY
making this ONE noble PROJECT,
realizing ONE GOAL that is to extend
generous help to the less privileged, working together with ONE HEART, making ONE DAY, that is on November 11, 2011, reaching and breaking ONE worth replicating RECORD at the Guinness Book of World Records.
How can we join the project?
Everyone with a good heart is welcome to join Project
111111. You can take part, either by donating or volunteering, and spreading
the word.
We would gladly receive any donations such as books, toys, used clothes, shoes, etc.
Rest assured that nothing will ever be wasted, and everything will be utilized
for the assistance of the project and its beneficiaries. For with great
achievement, comes with great effort and even greater passion to help those who
are in need.
You could also contribute to the success of this noble mission
by spreading information through internet blogging, texting, or simply
spreading personally to your friends, colleagues, families, etc.
Project 111111 is based on pure volunteerism and sheer
passion to help. Your presence during the collection process and
information dissemination would greatly help in the success of this project.
You, together with your colleagues and friends, can join us and make this one
worthwhile undertaking remarkable.

There are three simple ways on how to donate
Find the nearest receiving station
Give donations within the specified date and time
restrictions
Sign receiving form at the station
When to donate?
This depends on the receiving stations' duration and timing
of welcoming customers.
What will happen on November 11, 2011?
On this day, all donations from every concerned individuals,
groups and other entities will be gathered in one area. Clothes will be weighed
to possibly beat a world record that would urge others to replicate this noble
activity. If that happens, a much larger and wider range of beneficiaries will
be clothed, comforted, and fed.
Who are the beneficiaries?
Everyone who needs most of our help will be given priority.
These may include underserved communities, especially in the rural areas and
other locales, may it be within or outside Iligan City, including those which
have underwent any calamities.
