MSU @ 50 | Happy Golden Jubilee


Mindanao State University celebrates Golden Jubilee on September 1, 2011. For 50 years, the academic institution has consistently provided quality education to the people of MINSUPALA Region from all walks of life. Our gratitude goes to Dr. Antonio Isidro as the founder and president of this glorious institution.

    Lanao del Sur have much more to show to the world - from d century-old city of Marawi up to the rolling hills of "sleeping beauty" and down to the fabled islets and sand beaches by the lake. In this 50th anniversary of the Mindanao State University is your golden opportunity to visit our place. Bolos Kano!

    How i wish i could join my fellow alumni as MSU celebrates its 50th anniversary..I really miss my alma mater..it really brings back good memories..there's no place like msu...though i'm now based in the middle east my heart belongs to you my beloved msu..i know there will be a lot of fun...CONGRATULATIONS MSU..LET'S HAVE A TOAST FOR THAT!!!

    Truly, the province has a lot of beautiful places to showcase. The Golden Jubilee of MSU is an opportune time for everyone to visit Marawi and be amazed with the vast lake of Lanao and the beautiful sleeping lady. Thanks Sir Salman.

    To the one based in Middle East. Don't worry po. For sure, one day, you will have time to visit MSU. Take care always and together with all MSUans in the world, we will celebrate the Golden Jubilee of MSU :-) God bless

    Happy 50th , golden, anniversary to MSU system and to all MSUans out there!!!
    "Kung magtatagumpay ka na dito, mg tatagumpay ka na kahit saan." says my instructor in Filipino 1 subject back in 2004. "Iba 'pag tatak MSU!"

Known for its crispiest and tastiest liempo, Tita Fannies has its humble beginning. The Onque family managed to utilize a 100 square meter area in putting up a restaurant. Using low cost native materials like bamboo furniture and nipa hut, Tita Fannies Chicken and Liempo Haus was finally launched on November 18, 1999 at Zamora St., Poblacion, Iligan City. “We wanted Iligan City to have its mark in the food industry” recalls Mrs. Nilda Onque. Located in Lanao del Norte, Philippines , Iligan City takes pride to house 23 waterfalls,  one of which is the ever majestic Maria Cristina Falls -  the main outlet of the  country's largest freshwater lake - the  Great Lake Lanao.
