Mindanao Bloggers Summit 2011 showcases Darangen Dolls
The 5th Mindanao Bloggers Summit showcased the Darangen Dolls last October 29, 2011 at Celadon Pension House. These beautiful dolls reflect Maranao’s traditional costume called “malong”. Its owner, Dr. Sainuddin M. Moti proudly shares to the world the rich culture of Maranaos. This is evident as he continues to give life to the Maranao epic Darangen by intricately coming up with designs that resemble a Maranao woman.
