CBAA hailed as MSU’s Home of the Champions
The College of Business
Administration and Accountancy is hailed as Home of the Champions in the
recently concluded 53rd MSU Founding Anniversary Celebration. The college bagged 3 Overall Champion Awards in the University Intramural Games, Musical
Extravaganza and Debate Competitions, while the King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies (KFCIAAS) and College of Hotel and Restaurant Management (CHARM) got the Overall Champion Trophies in Literary Competitions and Dance Festival respectively. Hence, CBAA is the first of the 13 participating colleges to win 3 overall championships during the MSU Foundation Day Celebration.
Prof. Imara C. Andam, Dean of
CBAA expressed her gratitude to the college constituents for the cooperation
and great achievements this year. “Being able to represent the college in various
events was our main objective and winnings are just bonus factors,” she said. “I
did not expect that we will have the most number of winnings. This is indeed a
great year for the college. Congratulations CBAA Family,” she added.
Meanwhile, CBAA also takes pride
as it accepted the responsibility of hosting this year’s Musical Extravaganza. What
made the event more exciting was the participation
of event sponsors including Jollibee, Tita Fannies Liempo and Chicken Haus,
Boardwalk Business Ventures Incorporated, JECOs Restaurant MS Events and
Resources, Greenwich and Red Ribbon. Moreover, Jollibee mascot entertained the
audience with his awesome dance steps. Also, the event served as a venue for
the college to promote green marketing practices as reflected in their
production number.
Congratulations CBAA! Continue to
soar high!
